Acceptance for carriage of unaccompanied children, incapacitated persons, pregnant women, and persons with illness or other people requiring special assistance is subject to prior arrangement with Maluti Sky and at our reasonable Discretion. Passengers with Special Assistance need to contact Maluti Sky office for advance request on +266 52500761/ +266 52500759, the request need to be made 3 days before flight departure.
While most people with existing medical conditions are able to fly without difficulty, certain precautions sometimes need to be taken and in some cases we request medical clearance. Medical passengers are passengers who have been physically or mentally compromised due to temporary or permanent disability or incapacity, have undergone surgery, hospitalisation, and experienced illness. For safety reasons Maluti Sky does not permit Passenger to bring their own Portable Oxygen Concentrators/ on board the aircraft in checked or unchecked baggage. Passengers are required to carry their own portable self-powered using a gel or dry battery assistive devises such as personal ventilators, respirators etc. on board the aircraft subject to approval at no charge in the carry-on luggage only. (These passengers will require medical clearance to travel and must submit their doctors note directly to us no later than 48 hours prior to departure. Medical passengers may not be seated in emergency exit rows and will require the assistance of an able bodied person travelling with them who must be older than 16 years of age.
